Filename Has Two Extensions
I ran a virus scan... The file came up with two file extensions. I know this is bad. The virus scan could read it wrong I suppose but how do I see the true extensions of the file in question since the extensions are hidden? Do I use command prompt? I am not sure how to view the file's extensions if it should really have two.

RE: Filename Has Two Extensions
The Command Prompt will show you if a file has two file extensions. You can also disable the option to Hide extensions for known file types by removing its check mark under Tools > Folder Options... > View > Advanced Settings in My Computer.
As for the virus scan, most scans look at a file's contents rather than its name. If it flagged a file as a virus, it's likely due to the fact that it contains some virus-like code.
