Mute Sound Volume in WSH
I’ve seen this question several times over the past few weeks so I decided to sit down and find a solution. There’s a plethora of reasons why you might want to mute or unmute sound volume from within a WSH script. Until now, there’s been no viable solution. Thank you for supplying this information.
but my situation is that I need to check that the user has not muted the system before running the WSH commands (within browser): Set WshShell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell") WshShell.SendKeys(chr(&hAD)) and only execute if the system is already muted. Since I am brand new to WSH I have no idea of whether this can be done here, and I don't know that Javascript provides that level of control either. |
