RE: WinAmp Problems
Well, you could perform a memory dump at locate the instruction causing the problem. This would narrow it down to a source DLL...
...ya, who's going to do that, right? The error itself indicates that Windows is not allocating enough buffer space in memory to handle a maximum length string. This is generally due to bad programming. Likely, the problem is actually occurring in a plugin and not in WinAmp itself. Disable your plugins one by one until the error goes away. You can either leave the affected plugin disabled or try installing an update for it. Here's an example of what I'm talking about. http://www.burchwords.com/archives/41 Scripting problems? RE: WinAmp Problems
Yep that seemed to have done it.
Obviously I couldn't turn them all off. 90% of WinAmp is ran by plug-ins (weird). I disabled the two I knew I installed. EasyChords and The iPod plug-in. One of them fixed it. Thanks. undefined |

RE: WinAmp Problems
I know the iPod plugin has had issues in the past.

RE: WinAmp Problems
Looks to me like a memory issue, would it be worth using memtest.exe just to confirm the health of your memory?
